Implementation of HACCP certification

Rheem Chilena certifies HACCP: moving forward in the direction of our clients’ needs.

As a part of its sustained interest for adding value to our clients’ businesses, Rheem Chilena has decided in the year 2019 to advance in the certification process for the HACCP norm (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), with the objective of moving towards the needs of a market that elevates requirements for innocuity in product handling, and identifying  improvements that allow for more efficient productive processes, along with providing a safer working space for our collaborators, specially during the pandemic.

After a successful preparation process that took place all over last year, Rheem Chilena finally received the certification in November 2020, culminating a process led by our Quality Management area.

“This certification  confirms the profound approach towards the customer and continuous improvement that Rheem Chilena has” – comments Juan José Escárate, our company’s Quality Manager. “This has been the result of the collective effort of all the areas that understand the internal and external value that the implemented productive methodology holds, reaffirming our leadership in the regional packaging industry”.

HACCP is a system  where food safety is approached through the identification, analysis and control of the physical, chemical and biological hazards involved, and that comprehends raw material and the phases in the manufacturing process, as well as  distribution and product consumption. This permits the company to control the processes and to offer industrial packaging solutions to the market  that are designed to contain food products, as primary or secondary packaging.

“The range of opportunities that opens to serve an ever more demanding food market is broad” – states Escárate. “Rheem is ready to aim towards high challenges, in its constant search for premium quality in its packaging solutions, delivering trust and commitment to its clients”.
